ANY person traveling in from out of state or returning to MAINE (NH & VT are exempt) will need to provide a negative COVID test before arriving for any appointment. Please email with any questions.
I wanted to personally let you know that the family at Southern Maine Massage & Wellness is working very hard to accommodate new (and old) protocols to keep you and our work family healthy.
Appointments: ALL appointments will be cashed out via our online scheduling system, which means you will need a valid, updated card on file, or please bring cash. If you would like to leave gratuity on the card, please let your practitioner know at the end of the session. In an effort to maintain contactless payments, we will not be using our point of sale system, at this time.
Arrival: PRIOR to arrival, please make sure that you have filled out your intake form, which can be found on the "policies and forms" pagefor the appropriate service that you are coming in for (Bodywork or Facial). In addition, please be sure to review and sign the COVID consent form so that you understand the current risks and precautions being taken to ensure everyone's safety. PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR CAR UNTIL WE NOTIFY YOU THAT WE ARE READY FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. Our waiting room will be unavailable at this time.
Masks: MASKS ARE MANDATORY TO ENTER THE BUILDING - If you do not have one, they will be provided, along with a sanitation station when you enter the building. All of the practitioners at SMM&W are requiring all clients to wear them for treatment, at this time. If you have a medical exemption (which will be stated on your intake form under your medical history and consent forms), you may bring a physician's note.
Sanitation: The family at SMM&W has taken additional steps, above and beyond the state's requirements, to make sure that everyone is being treated in a safe and sanitized environment. From hospital grade cleaners, air purification systems and PPE we will be doing everything in our power to keep you healthy and happy.
Please know that some of these practices are time sensitive and may cause a slight delay to your appointment time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but ask that you are patient with us while we navigate this together.
1. Any and all symptomatic clients or practitioners are asked to stay home.
2. All rooms, linens and high traffic areas will be sanitized before and after your treatments.
3. We ask that you wash your hands upon arrival and limit your use of paper towels to one to dry your hands to help us conserve and limit our waste.
4. Plastic cups and hand sanitizer will also be provided as an extra precaution.
5. Our cancellation policies and no-show policies remain the same so please refer to them if you have any questions.
We are so honored to have you as part of our business and we want to insure you that we are taking every step to make your visit comfortable and will continue to give the same level of expert care that you are accustomed to.
Your wellbeing is our priory.
